It offers the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy the countryside while watching some great sporting action.”
Organiser Tessa Mackenzie-Green said: “We are thrilled with the entries and delighted that we are continuing our association with Equi-Trek Shaftesbury. “Aldon is such a well-established event which is now in its 37th year and we are grateful for the continuing support we receive each year from international riders right through to those riding at the grass roots levels.”
The showjumping action will take place in arenas situated in front of a variety of tradestands where food is also available. The cross country takes place in a parkland setting with excellent viewing of the majority of the fences for spectators.
